Burning Questions Answered Here

What age do you take children from?

Our sessions can be quite challenging at times, so we take children from 6 years old upwards, both boys and girls.

What kind of training do the coaches have?

All our instructors hold Dan grades in karate, meaning they have at least 4 years experience in karate, as well as additional training in coaching, safeguarding and disability awareness.  On top of this, our instructors are fully insured and are DBS checked.

How much does it cost?

Your first session with us is always free. After this, our joining fee is £79, but this does incorporate everything you need to get started with us, including uniform, sparring mitts, gumshield, 1st months training fees, licence and insurance and a syllabus book. Thereafter it is £33 per month for one session a week, £48 for two sessions or £55 for unlimited training payable by direct debit.
Equipment for karate is relatively inexpensive, and everything is available to purchase through us, but you are also free to purchase your equipment elsewhere, just check with an instructor first to make sure it is appropriate for what we do.

Do I have to be fit to start?

Not at all!  Your fitness will increase through training, and as time goes on you will feel fitter and stronger.

Where are you?

We have two venues we use currently, one at Hope Mills, South Street, Keighley, and the other at St Aidan's Church, Canal Road, Crossflatts. Feel free to call in when we are training!
