Welcome to Soaring Eagle Karate!

Since 2009 we have been teaching and promoting karate for everybody in Keighley. We are based in Dalton Mills, Dalton Lane, Keighley, and we run fun, friendly karate classes for children and adults.  We are a community club run by volunteers with the aim of making karate available for all.

Maybe you are considering martial arts for the first time without any real knowledge of what to expect, maybe your kids have been pestering you for ages to take up martial arts or maybe you did a bit as a kid and would like to give it another go. Well whatever your reason we will be pleased to welcome you to our club.

Wado Ryu Karate is great for kids, it gives them a way to develop and enhance their motor skills, it teaches them co-ordination and co-operation as well as discipline and respect.  We take children from 6 years old in our children's classes. 

Karate for adults opens doors that you never knew existed, it increases flexibility, stamina and fitness as well as teaching self defence techniques in a fun, friendly environment. Our style of karate, Wado Ryu, is perfect for all ages, as the way we train works for everybody from 6 to 66 and beyond!

No matter what your reason for starting karate, with us your first lesson is free, and there are no hidden charges.

Moving through the coloured belts to black belt is truly a journey of personal development for both children and adults.
